Kaohsiung: the British Consulate and the Love River
The next day, we headed to the British Consulate. It's a nice spot overlooking the city where you can relax and enjoy a cup of tea...or a stick of squid sausage.
From there we briefly explored the Love River. I snapped these flower photos for our moms. We miss you. :)
That night we returned to Don Burrito for the second night in a row. (What can we say...good Mexican food is hard to find!) A game of speed scrabble with our French hostel-mate and a visit from a Taiwanese church friend filled out the evening.

Don Burrito - thanks for the recommendation. We went there too and it was definitely the best Mexican I've tasted in Taiwan.
