Homemade Chai

I love making this on rainy days or on lazy Saturday mornings. Enjoy. :)

Ingredients:

Cloves
Cinnamon sticks
Crushed cardamom pods
Sliced ginger
Black tea
Milk (soy tastes great!)
Honey or sugar

***You can add or omit spices according to what's available. In the U.S. I liked adding some black peppercorns. A vanilla bean would probably be great, too. I didn't include quantities because you can really adjust it depending on your taste. Just experiment and have fun!

Directions: Boil a pot of water. Add the spices and simmer until it smells really good. Add some tea bags and let steep until strong. In another pan, heat up some milk. Serve in a mug, about 3/4 tea and 1/4 milk. Add honey or sugar to taste.
